Why Juventus aren't as bad as you think
What if Juventus qualified from Champions League group?
This week the Champions League’s field will halve from 16 teams to 8.
Two clubs of enormous stature that didn’t survive the group stage cull of 32 to 16 were teams that made up the 2015 final and can boast to being, at certain times, among the biggest five teams in world football.
Barcelona once again were halted by Bayern Munich but their relegation down to the Europa League for the second successive year was owed to one point from two games against Inter Milan.
Juventus fared much more dismally. Faced with two fellow elite clubs, much like Barcelona, they recorded four defeats against Benfica and Paris Saint-Germain before exchanging wins with Maccabi Haifa.
