Why Metroid: Zero Mission Works / HOTCYDER
In this essay, I look at the 2004 GBA remake of the original 1986 Metroid - sub-titled Zero Mission - one of the series' finest outings and one of the best examples of a video game remake.
Why it works is a short-form video series that gives an analytical breakdown of video games, and points out features, techniques or quirks that should be better examined and extrapolated.
