I didn't elaborate on why I didn't like the action combat system in my MMORPG tier list. I thought the combat in Neverwinter was generic and it didn't hit the fundamentals of Dungeons and Dragons. So here I explain why Bioware's Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter Nights, and Icewind Dale work, and Neverwinter Online does not.
