I think this about proves it.

Note: Yes, I know the Zodiak is not meant for bosses, it's meant for large groups of regular enemies. But if you're conservative with ammo (which, admittedly, isn't very fun) the RYNO can clear a room much more efficiently. And you don't need to be Courtny Gears (well, I asume she makes a lot of bolts...) to afford a refill.
