Why The YouTube Monetization Changes Aren't As Bad As People Make It Seem | Opinion | RDTechy
In this first ever (and probably the last) opinion piece, I tell you why the YouTube Monetization Changes aren't as bad as people make it seem!
In the part where I say 8,250. It is actually 8,750. Give it up for pro math skills! This doesn't affect the point I am making but I wanted to clear up the brain fart.
When YouTube announced the change in Monetization or YouTube Partner Program eligibility criteria, I saw a lot of creators having a knee-jerk reaction and some creators even exploiting that to benefit their own channels by pushing sub 4 sub.
In this video I hope to share my perspective and show you why it's not something that should worry you and how you will easily pass the thresholds before Adsense payments start to matter.
If you are interested in earning money with YouTube, it will be best to look towards other avenues like affiliate links, sponsorships and merchandizing!
I will be doing a video on that next week on Techy Tips, how to make money without AdSense as a YouTuber!
