Why this Man Utd player FAILED to live up to the hype
What if Adnan Januzaj fulfilled his potential? #Januzaj
For a season, admittedly in a desperate period for Manchester United: Adnan Januzaj ventured forward as the club’s greatest hope—possibly even only hope, in the dank period that immediately followed Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement.
Januzaj outlived his successor, David Moyes, and with his April 2014 sacking, Januzaj’s time in the Old Trafford spotlight wound down to a close.
Amidst a multi-national tug of war for his national team signature, Januzaj played his final game at Old Trafford under Louis van Gaal.
There have been times, notably at Real Sociedad, where Januzaj seemed set to fulfil his potential but ultimately didn’t. Today, we ask: what if he did?
