Dr. David Eisenberg is a medical director for Planned Parenthood. He oversees Missouri's only abortion clinic, which faces some of the strictest regulations in the country. People who seek an abortion in MO must wait 72 hours to receive the procedure. Doctors are also required to perform a pelvic exam and/or an ultrasound, and counsel patients with state-issued material designed to dissuade people from getting an abortion

Eisenberg: 'All day yesterday. I was saying I'm sorry to patients. I'm sorry that you have to wait three days to have basic health care. I'm sorry that I can't tell you whether I'll be able to take care of you. I'm sorry that you have to have a unnecessary and medically unethical pelvic exam.'
