This is a more academic book. I would recommend What Video Games Have to Teach Us About Learning and Literacy over this book. It’s a shorter book and I found it to be repetitive. This is something I have a problem with when I read academic books. I understand they’re laying out the evidence and using examples, but it feels like I’m reading the same chapter over and over again.

I do like the subject of the book. I just don’t think I was the intended audience for this book.
