It has been a while since I put out a video essay style video so what the heck. This is a topic that has been of interest to me lately. Being a long time YouTube user (since '06 atleast) I was around when the 5 star rating system was used to rate videos here on the site. Honestly it has been so long since the switch to the like/dislike bar I actually kinda forgot the star rating system was even a thing. SO...I did a little bit of research to try to understand why YouTube got rid of the star system, and this is what I came up with. Hope you guys enjoy.
