2023 has been a solid year for people who have had it with microtransactions. However staying on the front foot is important to ensure publishers don't get back to the status of quo of trying to force cash stores and micro-purchases into games.

Any game with microtransactions, at launch or included down the track was designed with this in mind. Avoid.
