This video is really about, why I think, if your thinking about upgrading your graphics card you'll be better off going AMD as a Linux user. Yes you may not get that NVENC encoder, although take your savings on your new card and put that towards a better cpu for your rendering. I think if AMD was shown the same financial support NVIDIA recieves we could end up with open source drivers truly rivaling Nvidia's offerings.
