Death Stranding has been on my "To Play"-list for a long time. Like many others I was kind of intrigued by the announcement trailer, but seeing the first gameplay footage I wasn't too sure if I would like it, even though I loved previous games by Hideo Kojima. At first I decided to let it be, because you simply can't play everything on release and I had enough games to keep me occupied anyways. In part due to the negative remarks of people calling it a "walking simulator" I kept postponing my first playthrough, but on the other hand the game gathered a big fanbase that seemed to enjoy the game very much, which let to me kind of being intrigued by the game. I started to listening to the Hideo Kojima Podcast and through this podcast I think I started to appreciate what Hideo Kojima was trying to achieve with Death Stranding. I then was sure I would play the game one day. With the announcement of Death Stranding 2 I realized this was the perfect time to dive in for the first time.

I made this video only on my first impressions of the game. I know I am definitely not done with the game yet, but wanted to share my thoughts on it either way, because I really think this is a different kind of game that many people will enjoy more than they might realize.
