A Kiyohime's Day (Part 1)

After a normal day of teaching, Tomoko Furukawa goes to grade her students' papers only to find one of her students still in the room. It was Yuzuki Hirai waiting for her older sister to pick her up. As she gives her explanation, she also explains a sort of distance that she has been seeing between her and her sister.

Meanwhile, Ichigo "Nightmare" Hirai, after oversleeping, heads to the school to pick up Yuzuki. However, she is then sidetracked by a group of preachers from the Myouren Temple. There, she also finds a pair of strange youkai claiming some sort of alignment with a superior. With no further explanation, Ichigo continues on her way.

Back with Tomoko and Yuzuki, the two discuss Tomoko's opinion on the Human Village as well as Yuzuki's opinion on the same topic. It is then that Ichigo "Nightmare" reaches the classroom and picks up Yuzuki. However, Tomoko requests that Ichigo stay with her for a moment regarding Yuzuki. The conversation includes a bullying issue Yuzuki has been having as a disenfranchised part of the village and a rather mysterious personal issue Ichigo seems to be familiar with. On that note, Ichigo, along with Yuzuki, leave the school to head home as Tomoko continues toward her work. Though, is Tomoko exactly happy with where she is in the Human Village or is there something that she continues to yearn for? What can a demon like her think of a village that would think of someone like Yuzuki as lowly? Who are these mysterious characters Nori and M, and who is their leader?
