Wii Metroid Prime: Trilogy G84, 2nd Campaign pt24: Preparing to go to the final area.
With the second mayor Boss defeated, I now make way to Luminoth leader Uno for debriefing, before proceeding to the third, and presumably, final area. But despite clearing 2 areas, I still don't have: Spider Ball, Power Bomb, Super Charged Light Beam and Annihilator Beam. Then there's this mysterious Sonic Equipment and presumably, a Gravity Boost that works on land. Vid timeline:
(0:00) Intro and Dark Visor.
This Visor, which feels like a hybrid between the Thermal and X-ray Vizors, is featured in the Local Multiplayer. So I was already familiar with it. It seems there's not going to a fourth Visor. Question is, due to it's natural properties, how is it to be properly used when the next Boss fight arrives? It should prove interesting.
(2:51) To Gloom and Meditation Vista.
(13:35) Arrived at Gloom and Meditation Vista.
Surprisingly, the Dark Visor was not the answer here. So, what is it? A land version of the Gravity Boost I suspect then.
(15:56) To Torvus Energy Converter.
(20:11) Arrived at Torvus Energy Converter.
Now, only one area remains.
(24:34) To Uno's Debriefing at Sky Temple.
(29:20) Missile Expansion at Path of Roots.
(34:26) Dark Pirates at Meeting Grounds.
(40:10) Arrived at Uno's Debriefing at Sky Temple.
This final area appears to be a central structure of a Luminoth City. But now, in addition to the Ing and Pirates, robots and drones of Luminoth design are going to come in my way.
(43:53) How to get to Sanctuary Fortress.
(56:28) Sacred Bridge to GFMC Compound.
So, the key turned out to be the Dark Visor. Never would have thought of that.
(1:09:00) Fortress Transport Access and Transport to Sanctuary Fortress.
(1:13:14) Transport to Temple Grounds and Temple Transport Access.
(1:21:14) Welcome to Sanctuary Fortress.
Surprisingly, Pirates where guarding the entrance. Are they with Dark Samus too? Or, do they stand apart still. They have to know what's going on by now.
(1:30:34) Power Junction.
Here I encountered Octopedes. Drones used to deliver data.
(1:33:41) Reactor Access.
There are automatons here that reminded me of the Phazon infused Pirates from Metroid Prime. Got a warning here of what's to come. Rezbit discussed below...
(1:38:48) Quad drone at Reactor Core.
Quad CM/MB. A more combat military oriented drone. I failing to understand the tips given on it's Scan analysis. And as a result, took much longer to defeat it than necessary.
(1:53:06) Rezbits and Save Station.
But Rezbits are an unusual and dangerous form of security automaton. It has a form of virus attack never before encountered. But there doesn't seem to be a way of destroying it.
