Wii Music - Part 4 - Pitch Perfect Mode
Wii Music Gameplay! In this episode we play the Pitch Perfect game in Wii Music. This mini-game is the most educational out of the bunch because it is basically Nintendo's version of ear training. In traditional music lessons, ear training is based on identifying intervals, chords and other simple things like that, slowly becoming more complicated. In this interpretation of ear training, it is entirely different (way less technical) but still just as relevant in real music playing. You have to develop your ear to pick out different instruments, and the basics of identifying tones by picking the highest note or putting them in order, even if they are different instruments. Nintendo really knows how to make great games, and this is the most original interpretation of ear training I've ever seen, because it strips away all assosciations with numbers and letters and makes you focus on how things relate to one another. After playing all the levels in Pitch Perfect, we go play a quick jam and make a video! :D

Wii Music is a very special game developed by Nintendo for the Wii. This game tries to capture the feeling of playing a real instrument. In this video I'm playing Wii Music on PC with the Dolphin Emulator. Go to Part 19 for the beginning of the videos using the Wii U. The game plays much better on console.
