Welcome back program! Grid Tanks is different than Light Cycle and Runner in that the action is show from a bird's eye view, shared screen. We share our first gameplay! Vid timeline:
(0:00) Intro.
(3:47) Round 1.
Player 1: Standard Tank.
Player 2: Standard Tank.
Player 3: Standard Tank.
Player 4: Combat Tank.
With 4 players, is can be confusing at first as in addition to one's tank, one needs to keep an eye for the aiming cross hair.
Tapping the trigger button quickly will fire regular rounds that can ricochet off walls. Leaving it pressed a little longer, charges up the cannon for a powerful strike. Finally, a maximum press allows one to fire mortar rounds for indirect attacks.
Tanks have shields and can lay mines too.
Each map has it's own obstacle to add that extra variable. There are walls that can crush as seen here. Ice can cause one to skid. Fog clouds render tanks unable to fire and so forth.
