Wii U Switch Minecraft World Transfer

It is now possible to transfer your Minecraft world from a Wii U to a Nintendo Switch! This is a video tutorial that will show you how to transfer your Wii U Minecraft world onto your Nintendo Switch.

It is very beneficial to move your save files from Minecraft Nintendo Wii U to Nintendo Switch. The world gets bigger, you can play on the go, and anything from newer updates can show up on unexplored parts of the map!

I found it took me a few different attempts to get it working though, and there were a few details not covered by Mojang (wifi network differences, etc) that I mention in this video.

One of the benefits of transferring your Minecraft world from the Wii U to the Switch is that you can increase the size of your world from Classic (842x842) to Small or Medium (3072 x 3072), which is a significant increase!
