Wild Water Adrenaline PS2 Multiplayer Co-Op Gameplay ( Indie Games ) Playstation 2
In this video me and Wiggy G test out the Co-Op mode in the Indie Games release titled Wild Water Adrenaline (featuring Soloman) on the Sony Playstation 2 console.
The game i was hoping to be something spectacular. The idea of rafting wild water rapids sounded fun, and something not seen a lot in the gaming world. Unfortunately as usual my expectations were cut short as we discovered no matter how well we thought we were doing, it just wasnt good enough.
It didnt take us long to figure the controls out, but they just didnt work as well as could of been implimented. Each of us took control of a character on either side of the raft, controlled by the corresponding analogue stick. Sounds fair enough, but this caused massive problems in controlling the raft. In the end it was easier to let 1 player take control when a corner approached as working together just didnt work at all. Going straight was a nightmare.
I guess you could argue the fact that it was our first attempt at this game, and that neither of us know anything about rafting, but the controls were so conflicting that it makes me not want to bother attempting anymore of the game. ..saying that though, watching the video back makes it look a lot more fun than it was. Unfortunately as the game has no real longevity, and every level seems pretty much the same, i dont think ill return to this one anytime soon.
