Will-o'-the-Wisp (No Limits coaster)
24Well, guess what? I was originally planning to save this for my 300 subscriber special, but then I decided it wasn't "unique" enough, plus I was kinda getting impatient because I really wanted to show this off, but I didn't wanna wait till whenever I reach 300 subs. So I think I'll just have one milestone video that's of a one level ROM hack I made unless I can quickly pull something else out of my ass in addition :P (I was gonna upload this one along with my ROM hack video upon reaching 300 subs).
Anyway, this is an epic wooden hybrid coaster I made that's inspired by the Voyage (actually it's inspired by Holiday World woodies in general) and I think this is one of my better creations. Featuring abundant airtime, some underground tunnels, and a twister segment followed by a trip through the station that's inspired by this other NL coaster, Bayern Blitz. The name and general motif of going into the woods were slightly inspired by the movie Brave. According to that movie, will-o'-the-wisps are flame-like sprites that come out and form a trail leading a person to their fate.
I also put a little more realistic detail on it than my average rides just because.
Some things to clarify:
Why GCI trains instead of the regular 2 row cars?
They're supposed to be Timberliners, but No Limits does not have the option to use Timberliners, so I figured GCI trains would be the closest thing.
What did you do to the trees?
It's a custom environment. I made the trees taller so that even when the train crests the lift hill most of the rest of the layout cannot be seen.
