Constantly pursued by Sköll, a wolf of chaos, Sol races through the heavens, ensuring the sun's daily journey continues. During Ragnarok, it is foretold that Sköll will devour her, but her legacy endures as her daughter takes her place. Sol embodies vitality, light, and the cycle of time, symbolising the balance between order and the ever-present threat of destruction. Ymir, a primordial being in Norse mythology, is the ancestor of all giants (Jötnar). Born from the elemental forces of fire and ice in the beginning of the world, Ymir’s body gave birth to the first beings, including the first gods. After his death at the hands of Odin and his brothers Vili and Vé, Ymir’s body was used to create the world: his flesh formed the earth, his blood the oceans, his bones the mountains, and his skull the sky. Ymir's death symbolises the end of primordial chaos and the birth of order, setting the stage for the creation of the world and the gods. Who do you think will win?
