As international crude oil prices firm up, India's oil marketing firms and the government will have a lot of juggling to do. While petrol is now deregulated, diesel prices are still fixed by the government. But can the government afford to announce any kind of price hike for diesel, which is more commonly used but have a cascading effect on inflation?
