Windbound Gameplay on the Nintendo Switch NO CRASHES
11I've heard reports of crashing, I've had none in my first 60 minutes but it's something to be aware of.
Windbound seems to show some promise but it's marred by a limited gameplay loop. Start the game with a circular small map that's covered with procedurally generated islands you traverse collecting 3 orbs. Once collected, move onto the next map. Rinse, repeat. I do love the boat mechanics and progression of it and I'm a sucker for the good old loot, craft loop but this needed more for the asking price. Hopefully, it will be patched to fix the stability issues being reported and they earn enough to develop the gameplay further. Windbound on the Switch is a great looking game and shows promise for sure.
