Something that has been bugging me a couple of times and I find there is no clear explanation and remedy for the problem.

Often times when you put a new microphone on, change things around with your audio inputs, or use a audio software and windows, the microphone level keeps dropping to a level you don’t want. You check the microphone level system, bring it back up to the lovely want, and think anything is OK. By then the problem repeat itself.

Even when you’re going to sound → Recording → Properties → Advanced→ and unchecked the box “Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device” under Exclusive Mode, the problem remains.

This video shows how I identified and resolve the problem.
