Windows 11: How to Fix When Printer Doesn't Print In Color, Fix Printer printing only black and white in Windows 11
Step 1) Make sure color ink cartridge is full, also make sure printing preference is set to color
Step 2) Run Printer Troubleshooter
Step 3) Open Control Panel/Devices and Printers/Add a Printer/The Printer that I want isn’t listed/My Printer is a little older. Help me find it/Select your printer and click Next/select Replace the current driver and click on Next/Let it install/Select Share this printer so that others on your network can find and use it.
Step 4) Uninstall and Reinstall the Printer Driver
a) Windows Key+X / Apps and Features / Programs and Features
Select your printer.
Select Uninstall.
b) Windows key+R, type control, hit Enter
Open Devices and Printers.
In the Devices and Printers window look for your Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose Delete or Remove Device
c) Windows Key+R, type cmd, hit Enter
Type printui.exe /s and hit OK.
Click on the Drivers tab.
Look for a Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click Remove at the bottom.
Select OK.
Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.
Close Devices and Printers.
d) Restart your PC and reinstall printer driver from Printer manufacturer’s website
