- COMMAND 1. First check the current RAM consumption of Windows Defender with this command:

Get-MpPreference | Select ScanAvgCPULoadFactor



- COMMAND 2. Below is the command that you must enter in PowerShell to define the percentage of consumption of Windows Defender:

Set-MpPreference -ScanAvgCPULoadFactor %



- COMMAND 3. After restarting Windows, confirm that the % you have defined is being applied, again with this command:

Get-MpPreference | Select ScanAvgCPULoadFactor



-METHOD 2 -
