Windows Ultimate Custom Startup Sound
137I decided to make my own "classic" Windows startup sound, utilizing elements of Windows 95, 98, and 2000, and even drawing some inspiration from the Sega Dreamcast startup.
If you're using Windows 10 and you want to make this YOUR startup sound, first make sure that the startup sound is enabled (it is not, by default). Open the sound options by right clicking on the speaker icon and clicking on "Sounds". If you don't see that option, you can also get there by opening up the Control Panel (open the Start menu and start typing "Control Panel"), change the view to either "Large Icons" or "Small Icons" (not "Category"), click on "Sound", and then click on the "Sounds" tab. Once you're there, check the box beside "Play Windows Startup sound". (By default, it will play the Windows Vista/7 startup sound.)
Once you've enabled the startup sound, download the file (link below) and place it somewhere it won't be moved or deleted. Then run Startup Sound Changer (link below), click "Replace", and then select this file.
