Wing Wing Z-84 FPV: 3 minutes of stress
Accompanied today by my daughter, we went out to help Neil maiden his Venturi, and had a quick attempt to fly the Wing Wing.
I've flown her in quite windy conditions before and she's really handled it well. This wind though, was gusting quite a bit more. I found control very difficult - whilst trying to bring her level on the straight (or diagonals with the wind) going in to a turn was scary stuff, and coming out of a turn seemed to be a mix of luck and stubbornness.
So trying to bring her in for an early landing, as soon as I got vaguely in the right direction I decided to take my chances with a glide and risk the crash rather than try and land nicely. Neil reports her doing an elegant cartwheel - the main thing was that there was no damage, and she's good to go again for next time.
