Today me and the crew return to Rimworld, a game where most people take a bunch of procedurally generated colonists and build and maintain a colony for as long as possible until the game finally manages to kill everyone off. I say most people because my colony is being played from the standpoint that my colonists are a group of heavily equipped space marines sent to the planet to eliminate as many pirates as they can before everyone either dies, or they manage to get to the grounded space ship and leave the planet. Sadly, my team isn't really capable of either option right now as winter of the second year on planet as set in preventing any further salvaging of the second base, still the team presses on with their mission. Even if evil robots and hostile residents fall from the sky to prevent the completion of stated objects. One of these days I will get around to building defenses around my base. Enjoy.
