Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) occurs when your throat muscles intermittently relax and block your airway during sleep. It's relatively common, causing severe exhaustion and high blood pressure - amongst other symptoms.

A method for classifying OSA events from snoring audio alone already exists within the department of Computer Science at the University of Sheffield, so the focus in this project is to combine sensor data from an mbientlab MetaWear motion sensor and SmartCare pulse oximeter for a more robust diagnosis.
