ABZU is a game created by Giant Squid studios, which was founded by Matt Nava. Matt was also the former art director at ThatGameCompany where he worked on both Flower and Journey before heading his own way. Giant Squid also created an amazing game called The Pathless, available on steam and elsewhere.
ABZU, like Journey, is a speechless, textless adventure, taking place entirely underwater as opposed to in the desert, that explores the themes of life, death, ecological awareness, and whose story is heavily influenced by the Enuma Elish scripts.
