As Kerala gears up for the voting day on April 26, the three fronts in the state – namely the LDF, UDF and NDA are exuding confidence. They are hopeful of decisive wins on the basis of their calculations, assessments and reassessments. Each front feels that they will make better progress this time in garnering votes and winning seats.Having won 19 seats in 2019, the UDF is expecting a complete victory this time. The Left Front believes that it will win at least ten seats in the changed political scenario. While the LDF points to the difference in vote percentage in the last assembly and local elections, the UDF counters this by saying that those results have nothing to do with the Lok Sabha elections. And in the case of NDA, its trump card is the excellence of the Modi administration or Modi guarantee.
