Unfortunately not a twin-stick shooter control setup. It's a rogue-like in that you do runs to see how far you can get. Trying to gain new permanent upgrades and spells to help you progress further each time. It's a difficult game, but well polished. It can be fun and the amount of variety keeps you interested.
