CAPTIONED COMMENTARY (sometimes), turn it on! Sura fight at 43:07

Literally would've lost if not for Neve's Emerald set bonus and Dependable Cake. Truly dependable. Also crazy healing from Messy Prescription + Catalystic Vial + Grit Armor heal bonus which results in rounded 5hp per tick with occasional 10hp during the Sura fight, but I'm too lazy to include these MVPs in the thumbnail. It is a large part of why I won though since I doubt I can dodge reliably long enough even with Neve's Emerald (had 3 failed runs before this all with Neve's Emerald bonus), and at one point in the Sura Fight (46:28) my hp reached 13 and got healed back up to 150 because of these relics.

Not particularly sure if the Leaf I got early in the run actually works since 100% evasion apparently doesn't against 3rd phase sura. idk if that extends to all kinds of Evasion, or only flat evasion items with percentages, but I know for sure Puffy Parka can work. So when I see "Evade" during the Sura Fight I assume it's the Parka, unless anyone could point out to me if he ever critted against me.

I do believe I'm not playing at my absolute best here, my old mouse had a broken 4th button recently which is my signature spell button normally, so this time I'm playing with a new mouse which has a different default DPI setting. Still don't know if there's a specific way to configure DPIs to a set number (I'm used to 1200 while this new mouse only goes to 1000 or 1600 with nothing inbetween). This is also why I seem to be spinning my cursor a lot and missing my aims.

This is actually my 2nd time beating Super Sura, but it seems like my dodging still needs a lot of improvement. No justification there. Both times I had Neve's Emerald though. Ignoring stunlock is truly powerful, and I'll always bring Neve's Emerald when I want to fight Super Sura. I doubt I'll ever change my Earth Arcanas too since the Spiral Rumblers are best at catching 3rd Phase Sura's idle period due to the fan-spread, even though I noticed moments where I missed (fuck mouse DPI) or didn't activate it at the right time. It worked wonders during my first time fighting him though. And Obsidian Cascade is one of the best signatures for single target damage after he's stunned. I've tried Buzzsaws and Tectonic Drill but I prefer Cascade now 100%. those can work if you have difficulty catching his 3rd phase idle phase though.

Protip to people trying to beat him : I think Sturdy Wooden Easel is a must-have if you see it since parries work against him probably. Other than that, yeah, Neve's Emerald + earth arcanas is a must for me. I tried the suggested "Absorption Coil to Signature against him and break out of stunlock" the other day but it didn't work as well for me (since instantly after that I get stunlocked again until I can signature). Other than that you could go for all armor relics you could find in shops and cursed shops, since during my first time beating him I had a total of 62% armor including from cursed relics and it was super easy.

ok enough Wizard of Legend videos for me maybe i'll upload Necrodancer or Gungeon next for real. Dunno if my aim will be shit in gungeon though, DPI still stuck with this new one.
