I finally get to the mines but get stuck in a nasty rest/monster spawn loop right inside the are. The experience is good so I keep doing it. It takes an hour to get to the robot NPC I'm looking for. He's a monk with decent resistance but no magic. I keep him as strictly melee front lines. It takes a bit of training but he's actually a better fighter than myles and also doesnt really care where I go.

I find the T'Rang under martins bluff and ally with them.
