This is Wizard's Quest, an old-school game from Avalon Hill. It's a lot like Risk with players in control of large armies that are doing battle across the land. But this time there's a fantasy element, with heroes, sorcerers, and a dragon that can swoop down and devour your armies. There's also a wizard who can make your armies prosper even as you do battle, lay siege to castles, and storm across the bridges of great rivers. I played this game a lot when I was a kid, and I love the fantasy element it adds to a risk like game.
