I show the first minutes of each Wolfenstein in comparison since 1992. The great Enemy Territory isn't included because it is purely multiplayer. I'll take care of this game in another upcoming video.
The first games didn't have much of an opening scene, so it's purely gameplay. Since Return to Castle Wolfenstein storytelling is much more important to the series. Since The New Order the first minutes combine cutscenes and scripted sequences with gameplay, that's why they take much more time in my video, not because they are better, but because it is much more difficult to seperate gameplay from an introductory cutscene.
