Wolfenstein 3D! ZX Spectrum [Quick Play] | Nostalgia Nerd
The humble Sinclair ZX Spectrum keeps surprising me with homebrew and Russian goodness and this version of Wolfenstein 3D, named Wolfenstein 2004 is no exception. This game is runnable on any ZX Spectrum (or clone) with 128k of memory and the TR-DOS operating system (the standard OS on russian clones with disk systems). You might think that Wolfenstein 3D is a stretch too far for the Spectrum, at least at a playable rate, however this version runs at a perfectly acceptable pace even with a standard clocked Z80 processor at 3.5MHz. Watch, be in awe, pass out, then try it yourself by downloading at http://www.worldofspectrum.org/infoseekid.cgi?id=0017189
