W&R Soviet republic is a interesting city builder game meets financial simulation game. By that i mean it incorporates the traits of a city builder, but with a greater impact from the financial markets. you need to watch the export and import prices of the commodities you import/export in order to make a profit (and keep building)
On top of that there is quite a bit of transportation management in order to get those pesky workers to work. so, in a way it is also abit of a transport tycoon - of sorts.
