I've spent a couple of years turning around my failing republic and it looks like I can salvage it from the wreckage. It’s 1985 and my city, now named Tshcheslavnyy, has endured two desperate winters as I struggled to deal with crime run rampant, and to provide the amenities my citizens craved. I think I may have the city back on its feet, but only time will tell.

I’ve updated the game to the latest version, v0.8.9.24, which has introduced new game mechanics such as fertilisation of fields, and management of various different types of waste, and has also brought in a greatly enhanced tech tree that needs to be researched. So it’s not getting any easier.
