July 28 is recognized as the release date of the original arcade/Neo-Geo release, so I thought I would switch things up this year and try and figure out the character Janne.

She has strong crouching kicks like Brocken does, but they have less damage and a seemingly smaller hitbox. The benefit Janne gets is that crouching charges her Flash Sword special mode (charge down, up + kick), and this does a lot of stun for a potential dizzy. Similar to Brocken, Janne gets a boost in the deathmatch oil fights, as the oil slicks move her forward for repeated kicking.

The playthrough is a little more work than playing as Brocken, but it's definitely doable on default difficulty without much hassle.
