World of Tanks Ikv 65 Alt II - 8 Kills 4,6K Damage (1 VS 5)
Medals received: Kolobanov's Medal, Radley-Walter's Medal, High Caliber, Top Gun
The Ikv 65 Alt II is a Swedish tier 6 tank destroyer.
In the mid-1960s, the Swedish Ministry of Defense laid out requirements for a new light tank. The lightly armored vehicle should combine high speed and maneuverability with powerful armament that would be sufficient to oppose modern tanks and provide fire support to the infantry. Landsverk developed several projects with both a rotating turret and a gun mounted on a stationary superstructure. They were essentially tank destroyers. Development of the project was discontinued at the drafting and modelling stage.
After the Ikv 103's horrible grind ended, and players get the Ikv 65 Alt II (Or just Ikv 65). It was the great reward for your hard effort. The Ikv 65 still remains the "Glass cannon" traits from its predecessor ; It has quite great mobility and had small size that provides great camouflage rating, But also didn't have armor protection. But, This tank abandon the traits from early Ikv project that classed as Infantry support SPGs in real life with powerful derp shot but with awful gun handling. Instead, Ikv 65 offers much better gun handling and excellent penetration in exchange for much lower alpha damage. Makes it became the true sniper in its tier.
The Ikv 65 Alt II leads to the Ikv 90 Typ B.
