World of Warcraft: Dragonflight Dracthyr Augmentation Evoker Season 4 The very beginning Mythic + 5
Renewing the Flights:
Upon the Horde and Alliance reaching the shores of the Dragon Isles, the situation is already dire. Enemies of old awaken just as the continent does itself, threatening the sanctums of the 5 dragonflights. The first sanctum in need of assistance is the Ruby Lifeshrine in the Waking Shores region, where Alexstrasza and her Red Flight attempt to keep unhatched eggs from becoming tainted with dark energies of the Primalists. For his good deeds, he expects Alexstrasza to spare some manpower to assist him in reclaiming the nearby Obsidian Citadel, though she does not accept, choosing to protect the eggs instead.
In order to discover Raszageth's next move following her setbacks, Alexstrasza meets with Kalecgos and Nozdormu, Bronze Dragonflight Aspect, in the Isle's capital city of Valdrakken within the nearby Thaldraszus region, home of the bronze flight. They discover multiple infiltrators have made their way into the city, showing the depth of the Primalist's schemes and how far they'd go to accomplish their seemingly unknown plans. At the Temporal Conflux, seat of power of the bronze flight, Chromie has an Infinite Dragon named Eternus captive. In order to awaken the powers of the Bronze Dragonflight, the citadel is purged of time-woven elementals, but doing so causes Eternus to break free of their chains. As Chromie goes to intercept, they are both taken through a portal of history and time. Nozdormu sends champions through different points in the infinite timeways to locate them. After multiple periods in time, they are found in the ancient past when the Old Gods ruled Azeroth. Returning to the present, Nozdormu lets Eternus go, though the Infinite Dragon warns the Aspect of his approaching fated transformation into Murazond, the leader of the Infinite Dragonflight.
WoW Dragonflight Season 4 Mythic Dungeon Changes
The tuning and rewards of this difficulty are increasing to the equivalent of a +10 dungeon with affixes in the current system.
There are no timers, affixes, or limitations on changing specializations or talents while in the dungeon.
The goal is to create a mega-dungeon-like difficulty for this experience. This difficulty should present a meaningful challenge and provide commensurate rewards without the pressures of the current Mythic+ system.
Mythic 0 is still on a weekly lockout under this model.
Given the difficulty squish, some notable changes to Flightstone earnings and Whelpling Crests will also apply.
Flightstone earnings for any given Mythic+ will match the equally challenging Mythic+ from previous seasons. This means that a Mythic +2 in Season 4 will give the same number of Flightstones as a Mythic +12 in Season 3 currently does. The rewards will continue to match difficulty, even if what we’re calling those difficulty changes.
Bonus Flightstone awards for increasing any party member’s Mythic+ score remain unchanged.
Whelpling Crests are no longer available from Mythic+ dungeons, as those difficulties no longer exist. Players can continue to collect Whelpling Crests from many outdoor sources.
Players will earn 10 Drake Crests on successful completion of a Mythic 0 dungeon, as there is no timer to beat.
Wyrm Crests will be available in Mythic +2 to Mythic +5 dungeons in the same quantities as existing Mythic+ dungeons.
Aspect Crests will be available in any Mythic difficulty from +6 and up, also in the same quantities as existing Mythic+ dungeons.
All in all, these changes are very positive for the community. Hopefully, these changes will reduce toxicity and anxiety among players, and foster a much more calm and enjoyable experience.
Best of luck, Champions of Azeroth, and may Dragonflight bring you countless riches and gear as we slowly start preparing for The War Within expansion that will be released later this year.
