Here is the last game mode that was run in the Crimson Dawn event in WOWP with it's 2.1.2 update. This game mode is very similar to conquest except capturing zones don't actually give you points themselves but getting air kills (from the enemy "combat group" specifically) reduces the enemy points depending on how many zones your team has. For example if the enemy team has a starting amount of 80 and your team has 3 zones killing an enemy aircraft reduces that 80 by 3 points to 77 and so on.

Overall I think this game mode is alright. It is a bit too similar to conquest but also giving at least a different feel. Not to mention it makes it so that if you face specialized bombers you actually have a chance against them even if they are good players. So not a bad nostalgia trip for this game and I think it was a good choice if they are actually going to develop the game again but I hope they can make better game modes in the future along with new aircraft content.
