Here's our First Look at Tier VIII Premium American aircraft carrier USS Hornet. Hornet (CV-8) is one of the most famous American carriers of the Second World War, launching the fabled Doolittle Raid on Tokyo in April 1942. The iconic B-25 bombers on her flight deck are represented in World of Warships via a special squadron that doesn't behave quite the same way as carrier players are likely used to. With Enterprise on the naughty list, Hornet enters the game as one of only two premium American carriers at Tier VIII. Let's dive in and learn more.
