What a jolly game. All came together, a good and actively communicating team and an opposing team that didn't manage to get their ASW (Anti-Submarine Warfare) together. It was over so quickly.

One has to be lucky some times! :-D

As I was asked in the chat during the game: Why do I find submarine gameplay so exciting?

... it's full of tactical maneuvering, trying to not be spotted while getting into a good tactical position, have regular 'oh sh*t' moments when you are being spotted or even hunted and the occasional very satisfying torpedo hit. What you see here is the absolute exception. Often your torps are being evaded or hit just after the target was sunk by the team (your damage dealing ability is slow, has a very limited effective range and is evaded quite easily by players who know what they do). It's always a challenge, you won't get the amount of damage and rewards you can get with other ship types ... but as I said, it's almost always nail-biting fun!). Most of the points you get from spotting and being a general nuisance to the other team. But sometimes you get lucky like in this game.
