Done watching? Good. Now, onto some notes after analyzing Koutyy's WR run:

In this 1:16, I have been ahead of the current 1:14 WR by the time I was done with both Portland and Staunton by 32 respectively 5 seconds. However, in the Shoreside Segment, I am about 3 minutes slower because of the following strats which will be mentioned below, alongside what did Koutyy's run look like in both Portland and the Staunton segments:

- In Portland, Koutyy has performed some strats slower, got om0 first try and lost a minute or so in Blow Fish because he got stupidly unlucky with a solid triad at the fish factory 💀
- In Staunton, he got the best timing for Sayonara (while I did not), solid times for Asuka's and Ray's missions (except ED where he loses time because the bobcat is pepega and doesn't drop packages at times), some bad RNG on Liberator; The sniper strat in Waka Gashira is done and ADITO looked solid.
- Now, for Shoreside: GTAero and... he's keeping the dodo... That means he's doing the actual dodo strats! Something which has not been done before in 3DE, but theorized as completely doable. For the entirety of Bait, start of E2G, and SAM dam strat. He also gets The Exchange done with the full dodo strats. (And this is how I lose two minutes with the current route that I use compared to this 1:14 run)

In conclusion, I am at that point where my Portland is better than his on average, super similar Staunton times and a terribly slow Shoreside. I seriously have to step up my game. This run is still pretty good as it is and I'm pleased with it. But me finding out shortly after that I didn't own the WR after just getting it and being informed by someone in chat who is friends with the current record holder about his run was a big shock to me. Still is a shock. The evening when I got this PB was met with a lot of happiness, yet also a f*** ton of disappointment. If it weren't for that person telling me about this run, I would not have known about the 1:14 in the first place and would have been much happier at this point. But guess what? That is sadly not the case. Hiding strats and publishing WR runs as unlisted, while also not even bothering to inform the current record grinders of this game (like me), let alone inform your other friends who run the game about the fact that you got another WR days ago is a big a**hole move. Shows how much of an antisocial you can be. Anyway, at the very least this run was done LIVE and not offline. OFFLINE RUNS ARE LAME IMO AND I DO NOT CARE IF ANYONE DOES NOT AGREE WITH THIS STATEMENT. AND IF YOU ARE ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE WHO HOARD OFFLINE WORLD RECORD RUNS FOR DAYS/WEEKS/MONTHS OR EVEN YEARS, YOU ARE A NOTHING BUT A SELFISH SCUMBAG. DO NOT BE LIKE THAT, FOR THE LOVE OF PETE.
