World War Z (PS4) - Solo Insane Difficulty in Tokyo, Cruise Control with Fixer
This is Episode 4 - Tokyo, Chapter 3: Cruise Control
This new map that was added on June 3, 2019 is definitely the most difficult map to solo and co-op because of the clustered spacing and large waves of zombies along with special zombies that can overwhelm you in seconds if you are not careful.
This update also introduced a new special zombie called "Infector" who can melee and spit a ranged projectile at you. If you are hit by any attack from this zombie, you have roughly 12 seconds to "disinfect" yourself with a hold-button prompt on your screen (It is square for PS4) or you will die and become zombie yourself.
I was able to do this after more than 30 attempts because I kept getting overwhelmed during the first swarm section. You have to watch out for the zombies that are climbing up as well as them spawning in from literally everywhere in that zone.
Playing solo with bots is still as difficult as ever because a single Bull can take out your entire team if you don't get there in time to save them.
My Fixer Build (Level 30):
Mule - Start with Supply Bag and Scout Rifle. Increase carried ammo capacity for primary and secondary weapons by 10% for all teammates
Paramedic - Revive speed increased by 50%
Night Owl - Masking grenades grant an additional temporary health boost. Start with Masking Grenades
Cloakroom - Revive a teammate grants masking effect for 3 seconds for both of you
Please Stand Up - If everyone in a team is incapacitated or pinned by a zombie then the fixer is able to stand up
Gunner - Start with Sporting Carbine PAC-15
One for the Road - Max masking grenade capacity increased to 2 and Supply Bag capacity to 2
Under The Table - Anyone entering masking grenade gas cloud restores 20% of primary weapon ammo
Efficiency – Supply bag contains 25% more explosive ammo. Masking grenade effect duration increased by 5 seconds
Casull 6 - Start with a Casull 6 in your secondary weapon slot
Shadow Walker – Masking Grenade effect duration increased by 3 seconds
My Round II - Increase carried ammo capacity for heavy weapons by 10% for all teammates
Corporate Power Nap – Unequipped weapon automatically reloads every 10 seconds for all teammates
I've found that the loot boxes are programmed to give you something that you don't have. I'm not 100% on this loot mechanic but I've noticed that if you are fully equipped with a Tier 2 Primary Weapon, a Tier 2 Secondary Weapon, and a Heavy Weapon along with Medkit, you have a higher chance at receiving a Tier 3 weapon instead.
