Worst Generation Ever? My Little Pony in the 2000s Review
53Welcome to my last series review of any My Little Pony content made before 2010. Here, I get through as much of Gen 3 as I can find, released by Hasbro from 2003-2009. A lot of writers and producers were involved in the movies made during this era, making it arguably the least consistent generation of the franchise. There are people out there who like a lot of the stuff here, but there are was a serious backlash to this generation from bronies around the time Gen 4 started. It’s easy to look back on that specific backlash now as just insecure bronies trying to brush the less masculine instalments under the rug to maintain their “credibility”, but that was a while ago now. What would the kids who grew up with Gen 3 have to take away from it?
