0Unfortunately, although there are lots of fantastic levels and stages in video games, there are also a fair few awful ones.
Since their inception in 1997 with PaRappa the Rappa, (At least I THINK that's the first one) I've had a somewhat turbulent relationship towards the rhythm action genre. At one point, I regarded them all as stupid, simplistic and a complete waste of time compared to so many other video games out there.
Nowadays, my opinion of them has improved dramatically and I definitely respect them for what they are. But where could have such a resentment could have sprung from? I think I have an idea: it all started in The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages, of all games...
