WOTC trying to REVOKE THE OGL for D&D (Lawyer-gamer shares leaked language and comments on it)
The leak is confirmed further Jan. 5 by Linda Codega, a respected gaming journalist at Gizmodo who has a copy of "a leaked draft of the document, dated mid-December": https://gizmodo.com/dnd-wizards-of-the-coast-ogl-1-1-open-gaming-license-1849950634
It's time to raise hell!
The community should not help WOTC lie about what this is and call it an "OGL." It doesn't foster "open gaming." In practice, it doesn't provide a stable business model for third party publishers, and in this respect is closer to the 4e GSL (Gaming System License.) (EDIT: @Fury of the Smol is calling it the CGL, or Closed Gaming License.)
